Light Years- “Acoustics” EP

Light Years will be joining the Warped Tour for several July and August dates as part of the Acoustic Basement. They just released a three track acoustic EP that’s available to download via Paper and Plastick for the mere cost of $1. The bands’ songs translate especially well to an acoustic format, and these recordings poignantly recast the earnest, reflective qualities that made their 2013 full length debut, “I Won’t Hold This Against You” such a standout album.

If you enjoy acoustic versions of rock/emo/punk songs or just appreciate thoughtful pop punk that’s a little more mature and more nuanced than a lot of the more popular stuff, you’ll want to check out Light Years and download “Acoustics.” I promise you it will be a dollar very well spent.

You can stream the EP here via Absolute Punk
