Hawthorne Heights Stream “The Silence in Black and White- Acoustic”

The fact that Hawthorne Heights have recorded an acoustic version of their 2005 debut album “The Silence in Black and White,” makes me absolutely giddy with excitement. Not only is it huge college nostalgia for me, but it totally satiates my desire for more acoustic versions of emo/pop-punk/whatever-you-want-to-call-the-genre songs. Be still my “emo heart”…

These re-recorded songs sound just as beautiful and profound as they did when I listened to the original versions in my early 20s. The acoustic version of “Silver Bullet” that they released so many years ago was always my favorite, and the fact that I get to enjoy all of these songs in an acoustic version has me totally geeing out (and crying my eyes out) right now.

stream the album (due 4/15) here:
